Issue(s) Resolved in this Patch

MetaFrame XP 1.0 can be configured to use FIPS 140 validated cryptographic algorithms for SSL/TSL encryption. This patch extends the support for FIPS 140 cryptographic algorithms to cover the following additional functions using the Microsoft Crypto API:

• Anonymous account generation

• Anonymous account random password generation

• Random ticket generation

The transform (.mst) file included in this patch installs this extended FIPS 140 support. It does not affect the existing FIPS 140 support for SSL/TLS encryption.

This patch is not intended to address any security vulnerability.
