Direct Dial Modem Users Cannot Reconnect to a MetaFrame Server

SYMPTOMS
When you are running Citrix MetaFrame and you are using a direct-dial connection to a computer that is running Terminal Services, the user logon session may stop responding (hang) during the log on process. This may occur in rare instances when you try to reconnect to the MetaFrame server by using a direct-dial connection.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
