When attempting to create a default file share location for a package group, you may receive the following error message:

“Unknown error occurred during network enumeration. IMA server returned error code = 0x80000001.”

To reproduce:

1.
Create a package group.

2.
In the Properties of this package group under the Network Account tab, deselect Use default file share location and then select Browse to browse for the desired default file share.

3.
When the Browse for Folder window appears, you will receive the error:

“Unknown error occurred during network enumeration. IMA server returned error code = 0x80000001.”

Resolution

Configure a network account at either the Installation Manager node level or at the package group level.
