Apply SP1/FR1 before using the MSI

Synopsis

If you are trying to install Citrix Installation Manager.msi from the SP1/FR1 CD onto Metaframe XP without SP1/FR1, you will recieve the error Invalid System Configuration. The original media for Installation Manager does not include a .msi file. Installing Service Pack 1/Feature Release 1 (SP1/FR1) automatically upgrades the Installation Manager components if a previous installation of Installation Manager is detected. The SP1/FR1 CD contatins an Installation Manager directory. Install Installation Manager from this directory, using the .msi file or Setup.exe. This gives you a full installation of Installation Manager with all of the most recent files.
