Error

Website Viewer has a problem…

A security setting is not correct. Website Viewer cannot display Web site until the problem is corrected. Please contact your administrator or Help desk.

Cause

SSL encryption is enabled for Website Viewer. However, the client Web browser is not set up to trust the MetaFrame Security Access Manager Web server certificate or the server certificate is not set up correctly.

Resolution

1. Install MSXML Parser 3.0 Service Pack 2 Release

Notes:

Microsoft XML 3.0 Service Pack 2 is also shipped with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0. If you have one of these products, you do not have to upgrade.

• Microsoft XML 3.0 Service Pack 2 can be installed only in the replace mode. There is no side-by-side mode for this release.

• Internet Explorer 5.0 does not correctly upgrade from Microsoft XML 3.0 to Microsoft XML 3.0 Service Pack 1 if the Microsoft XML 3.0 Dlls are currently in use. In that case, close all applications that load the Microsoft XML 3.0 Dlls for the files to be upgraded correctly. Internet Explorer 5.5 correctly handles this case by requiring a restart if the Microsoft XML 3.0 Dlls are being used by another process. If you have Internet Explorer 6.0, you already have this component.

2. On your portal server, log on to your portal and access a page with the Website Viewer. Add the Website Viewer Object to your Internet ExplorerToolsInternet OptionsSettingsView Objectsfolder.

3. Another possible issue is that Internet Explorer is not allowed to run ActiveX. The ActiveX control cannot get the history information from the portal server. Verify that in Internet ExplorerToolsInternet OptionsSettingsView ObjectsC:WebsiteViewer Object is not listed.

4. While normally not an option, you can disable SSL encryption in the CDA configuration wizard.
