The user profile path (or roaming profile path) gives a user a consistent experience regardless of the server they login to.The only way this would be overridden is if a terminal server profile path is referenced in user manager for domains.(The local profile on the login machine may be used if a network connection cannot be made to the profile path.)The home directory is a location for the user to store files. The terminal server home directory will override this just as the terminal server profile will override the user profile path if a user logs onto a TSE.The map root is a NT reference if the home directory path leads to a Novell machine.
