What are some strategies to consider for client drive mapping? What are some strategies to consider for client drive mapping?
Client drive mapping would be enabled if user needed to transport his data.If the drives were automatically mapped to the C, D, etc. this would reduce the amount of training the users would require. It would also raise their comfort level. When the user is allowed to manually map their client drives, it allows users at a particular skill level to use their local drives.(Not to mention that, if they mapped them they would know what/ where they are.--Theoretically!--)If the users settings are controlled by group then the administrator has control of which users have reached a certain skill or security level.
The client drive mapping behavior can be changed on the server through any of the options. If the users settings are controlled by group then the administrator has control of which users have reached a certain skill or security level. If the disk administrator of MetaFrame installation is used then the server will appear as high lettered drives leaving room for the client drives to appear in their "normal" places.
Note that while any of these five options can be used there are inherent and specific functionalities that each produce. The best way to change how the clients' drives are mapped (in the traditional sense is to remap the server drives through the following process.
1.Install Terminal Server
2.Install MetaFrame with drive remapping enabled.
3.(Make sure MetaFrame is installed before any applications)

This question is purposely ambiguous to force the student to examine the question and to think of all possible ways that"drive mapping behavior can be changed".
Change Client command can change the drive mapping behavior.
Citrix Connection Configuration and User Manager for Domains can turn it on/off.
Disk Administrator can change the server mappings which affect a change on the available drive letters that can be used for client drives.(Although this can result in problems when the registry still points to old drive letters.)
