Default port mapping is only enabled when the ICA protocol is implemented. (Regardless of the protocol that it is coupled with.) The TSE may require multiple protocols to be installed and configured on the server itself to operate as a client in other client/ server applications. The protocols used between the TSE and the client are only limited by the bindings of the client workstation (node) and the TSE (along with any routers, or bridges or other internetworking components between them). Remote resource communication is enabled through the protocol bindings between the TSE and the remote resources.
