Ensure the user account can logon with a UPN format and the LDAP server information is correct.
Issue
During the first time setup screens, you may see the following error message:
"Sorry, Enterprise Services for NFuse was not able to contact the account authority using the parameters you provided. Please go back and re-enter details."
Cause and Resolution
When using the Active Directory option for the account authority type, the following are required:
1. The full UPN name of an administrator account in Active Directory. This error was reproduced with the default domain administrators account. The field for the UPN logon name was blank when going to Active Directory Users and Computers > Administrator > Properties > Account. Entering a valid UPN logon name resolved the error.
2. The Active Directory server LDAP URL. I.E. ldap://.
