What is the difference between an embedded application differs and a launched application?

A user will find that an embedded application differs from a launched application because:
Embedded
1. fills a rectangle that is a part of the web page
2. scrolls and moves with the web page
3. cannot be located as a single file to transfer an application from site to site
4. will close when the page is closed

Launched
1. is a part of a separate window
2. moves independently of the web page
3. remains open if the web page is closed
4. referenced by an ICA file
5. can be transferred from user to user or site to site if the mime type is registered with the browser
