When using seamless windows with a MetaFrame Client, a single user from the same Client machine should not use more than one license. A client takes more than one license if the following conditions exist:

1. Connecting to a server farm and the additional window is connecting to a different server

2. The following parameters do not match on the client side:

Network Transport Protocol
Encryption Level
Disk Cache (on or off)
Compression (on or off)
Queue mouse and keystrokes (MouseTimer and KeyboardTimer values)
Sound (on or off)
Sound Quality
Window Colors

If any of these are different between the connections, a new ICA connection launches and uses another license.
