Citrix supports the MetaFrame XP product running on VMware ESX Server under the requirements listed below.
Summary

VMware ESX Server provides mainframe-class virtual machines on Intel Architecture servers, and is ideally suited for consolidating and partitioning systems in high-performance environments. VMware ESX Server minimizes the total cost of ownership (TCO) of computing infrastructure by increasing resource utilization, expanding computing capacity and maximizing server manageability. Citrix and VMware have collaborated to support customers deploying MetaFrame XP and VMware ESX Server together.

Software Requirements

• VMware ESX Server v.1.5.2 or greater

• Windows 2000 Server

• Citrix MetaFrame XP Feature Release 2 or greater software with Hotfix XE102W014

Solution Support

Citrix supports the MetaFrame XP product running on VMware ESX Server under the requirements listed above. For support issues not related to MetaFrame XP, Citrix will refer the customer to the appropriate support vendor for the operating system or application.
