Symptom
HTTP 500.100 – Internal Server Error – ASP error while loading Web Interface/Web Interface Extension Admin Tool
Cause
This error occurs when the IIS application name disappears from the application properties.
Resolution
To resolve this problem, you need to do the following.
1. Open Internet Information Services. Browse to the Citrix folder below Default Web Site.
2. Right click the application you are having problems with; for example, WIAdmin, and select Properties. A dialog box similar to the following appears:
Note that the Application name section is blank.
3. Click the Remove button, then click the Create button. Note that the Application name is present. See the following dialog box.
4. Click OK to close the Properties dialog box.
5. Restart Internet Information Services (type iisreset at a command prompt).
Additional Information
You might also experience this error while browsing to the Web Interface/Web Interface Extension login page. Follow the procedures above for the appropriate IIS application.
