The Reveal and Reveal All Buttons Are Disabled in the Password Manager Agent

Symptoms

The Reveal and Reveal All buttons, which are both used to reveal the user�s passwords, are disabled in the Password Manager Agent.

Cause

The buttons are disabled by design. The Reveal and Reveal All buttons can both be enabled by using the Password Manager Console�s Agent Settings node.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to enable the Reveal and the Reveal All buttons:

1. Launch the MetaFrame Password Manager Console.

2. Right-click the Agent Settings node.

3. Choose New Settings from the Agent Settings node menu

4. Name the Agent Settings and click OK.

5. Expand the newly created agent setting.

6. Click the Access Manager node.

7. Check the box next to the Agent Setting AllowReveal.

8. Select Reveal Password from the Value drop-down box.

9. Ensure that the settings are deployed to the agent. You can do this through synchronization (SSO support).
