CTX283696 - Error: "RASDDUI.DLL is not a valid Windows NT image"

This document was published at: http://support.citrix.com/kb/entry.jspa?externalID=CTX283696

Document ID: CTX283696, Created on: Jul 11, 2000, Updated: Apr 23, 2003

Products: Citrix WinFrame 1.8

This occurs because of a corrupted driver image in the spooldriversw32x861 directory.

To remedy this situation run the EXPAND.EXE utility to expand the file from the WinFrame CDROM to the WinFrame server's hard drive. You will have to expand the file to two different subdirectories. Type the following commands at a command prompt:

expand D:i386rasddui.dl_ c:winnt35system32spooldriversw32x861rasddui.dll
expand D:i386rasddui.dl_ c:winnt35system32spooldriversw32x86rasddui.dll

This assumes the CD-ROM is drive D, the WinFrame boot drive (%SystemDrive%) is drive C, and the %systemroot% is WINNT35. You may need to adjust these to reflect your configuration.)

NOTE: The compressed file on the WinFrame CD-ROM has an underscore ( _ ) as the last character.

The directory driversw32x86 contains the pre-installed drivers. When you create a printer, the drivers are copied into the driversw32x86 or driversw32x861 directory, depending on whether it's a Windows NT Version 3.1 or Windows NT Version 3.5x driver.
