By default the Ica256.bmp file, located in C:\Program Files\Citrix\System32, is the bitmap that is displayed in the background of the msgina or nwgina. If that file is renamed, the background image is completely removed. However, if you want to delete the tile effect and just have the bitmap centered behind the logon screen, simply follow the instructions below: WARNING! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious, system-wide problems that may require you to reinstall Windows NT to correct them. Citrix cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own risk. 1. Select Start > Run and in the Open: field, type regedt32. 2. Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop 3. Change the value of “TileWallpaper” from 1 to 0. |
