What is the makeup of the webica.ini file? What is the makeup of the webica.ini file?
Drive access information is stored on the clients local drive. This information is stored on the webica.ini file in the %systemroot% folder on the client machine. This would be C:\winnt on Windows2000/XP/NT or c:\windows in Windows9x.
The ini file itself looks like this:
[Access]
CurrentConnection=Fully.Qualified.Domain.Name:8080
GlobalSecurityAccess=405
In this instance GlobalSecurityAccess=405 is "Full Access" and "Never
ask me again for any application.".
"No Access" and "Always ask me once per connection."
"Read Access" and "Always ask me once per connection."
"Full Access" and "Always ask me once per connection."
All will have no line in the webicai.ini file that references "GlobalSecurityAccess"
and a line that states: CurrentConnection=Fully.Qualified.Domain.Name:8080
When you choos the "Never ask me again for this application." option
the last server that you connect to will be listed as CurrentConnection=Fully.Qualified.Domain.Name:8080=###
but the rest of the servers will be listed below that reference.
"No Access" and "Never ask me again for this application."
