This document describes how to edit the .ica file to allow connections through a SOCKS proxy server. The information in this article applies to ICA Web Client version 779 and is from the Citrix ICA Windows Web Clients Administrators Guide.
You need to edit the .ica file associated with the conenction in two places:
1. Under the section headed [WFClient], add the following lines:
TcpBrowserAddress=10.1.1.11
ICASOCKSProtocolVersion=0
ICASOCKSProxyHost=10.1.1.13
ICASOCKSProxyPortNumber=1080
The ICASOCKSProxyHost parameter is the address of your SOCKS server and the ICASOCKSProxyPortNumber parameter is the port your SOCKS server uses for network traffic.
2. Under the section headed [YourConnection], where YourConnection is the name of the application or server to which you are connecting, add the following lines:
ICASOCKSProtocolVersion=0
ICASOCKSProxyHost=10.1.1.13
ICASOCKSProxyPortNumber=1080
