Citrix users who attempted to use autosignature in Outlook 97 found that while they were able to create an autosignature, when they returned they always got the signature created by the last user on that particular server. By default, autosignature is intended to work on a standalone machine, where it creates a file called .rtf. In this case, the file generated by the PROFGEN utility is Microsoft Outlook.rft. Each user was overwriting this file when attempting to create the autosignature file.to correct the problem, it was necessary to change registry settings so that users would access their own home drives when creating these files. Below are instructions from Microsoft for editing the necessary keys
NOTE: In a Citrix environment, you must type change user /install at a command prompt before making these changes so they get generated for all users. When you are finished, type change user /execute at a command prompt.
