The above errors can occur when attempting a connection to a Citrix server through the IPX protocol. The transport driver errors appear while using the DOS client. The protocol driver errors appear with the Windows client. Some of the transport driver errors are accompanied by a " Browser 19 ", " Browser 14 ", " IPX15108 " notation. These notations may differ between the client build versions.
Some of the causes of these errors are as follows:
1. Connecting by servername, which is inadvertently mispelled when configuring the client or is no longer a valid name on the network.
2. Connecting by IPX address; for example, BB:xxxxxxxxxxxx, that is entered incorrectly when configuring the client or has changed because of a server rebuild/relocation.
3. Using a correct servername or IPX setting with the server physically unavailable; for example, powered off or not recognized over the network.
NOTE: Utilizing the qserver command at a Citrix server DOS prompt provides an avenue to verify the configuration setting and to troubleshoot these errors.
