What is Citrix “Queuing and Tossing”?

In some Citrix literature there is a reference to "Queuing and Tossing". This refers to the features of MetaFrame that:
1. includes speedscreen
2. queuing mouse movements and keystrokes to combine interrupts into a package. This package reduces the frequency and number of packets thereby reducing bandwidth usage.
