Updated again. As Bullwinkle used to say, "This time, For Sure!" Changed my CMS yet again. But I really like the performance of this one. Stand by for a bunch more content later today and this week. |

I can't believe it. It is done. Over 5100 entries in this database, all migrated. I've been working on this since I spent some time in the hospital in March. But finally it is done. It really feels good. I event got to put in the start of a few new features like Twitter! |

How to Integrate XenServer Redundantly into a XenDesktop Infrastructure Document ID: CTX120383 / Created On: Apr 29, 2009 / Updated On: Jul 10, 2009 Summary This article describes how to integrate XenServer redundantly into a XenDesktop 3.0 infrastructure. Background XenDesktop allows integrating hypervisors like XenServer, Hyper-V, or ESX into a virtual desktop infrastructure for advanced management of the virtual machines (such as: start, stop, suspend, and so on). For an integration of XenServer in particular, this means specifying the Resource Pool master and valid user credentials within the Create Desktop Group dialog of the XenDesktop Access Management Console snap-in. In case of an outage of the specified server, the desktop group cannot be administered nor is any automatic boot, reboot, or shutdown task successful, until the server is back online. Procedure The steps to complete the task: 1. Within the Create desktop Group dialog select Citrix Xen VM infrastructure (included with XenDesktop). 2. Click Options. 3. Specify a list of XenServers, which will be contacted in case of an outage of the Resource Pool Master, separated by semicolons as show in the screen shot below. This document applies to: XenDesktop 3.0 x32 |

Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards. |

If you've read anything at all about Content Management Systems (CMS), you'll probably know at least three things: CMS are the most exciting way to do business, CMS can be really, I mean really, complicated and lastly Portals are absolutely, outrageously, often unaffordably expensive.

Joomla! is set to change all that ... Joomla! is different from the normal models for portal software. For a start, it's not complicated. Joomla! has been developed for the masses. It's licensed under the GNU/GPL license, easy to install and administer and reliable. Joomla! doesn't even require the user or administrator of the system to know HTML to operate it once it's up and running.
